“It’s spring!” yowled the tomcat, out on the prowl.
“It’s spring!” quacked the duck, that most buoyant fowl.
“Spring’s here!” oinked the pig, knee-deep in the muck.
“It’s spring!” crowed the rooster, then let out a cluck.

“‘Tis spring!” sang the robin, first thing in the morn.
“It’s spring!” barked the little dog, his coat newly shorn.
“It’s spring,” yawned the woman, pillow over her head,
“and it’s five in the morning, please go back to bed.”

Oh my
Oh god. This is so lovely, Methanie. Thank you for the reminder of beauty in the world. The picture just makes me feel lighter. I'll post a favorite poem in separate post.

Thank you for YOUR light.

me again with poem
If you love this planet
and you watch the spring come
and you watch the magnolias
flower
and the wisteria come out
and you smell a rose

you will realize
that you're going to have to
change the priorities
of your life.

(I usually put this in my spring cards...)

Aw, thanks Bonnie
I loved the compliments and the poem. You are too good to me.

It's interesting - I really loved this photo but sometimes people aren't drawn into the flower images as much as I am. So nice that you enjoyed it too.

"It's spring!"
... cried the Jess as she watched her baby seedlings come to life on the porch and all she wants to do is eat them...

So lovely, your flowers. And uplifting!
