I often look skyward while walking
Upwards my attention does stray
My friends say that I should be careful
But I meet such fine people that way
I met a nice woman from Kansas
When I walked into the door of her car
And I slammed into the man from Balboa
As he teetered on home from the bar
And let’s not forget about Horace
Who runs that big coffee shop
He now brings me cocoas for free
If I promise to stay off his block
Yes, looking skyward while walking
Is a a wonderful adventure, I say
However, the puppy I trampled
Did not really see it that way
