My husband and I travel often. Our favorite destination is Kauai - we generally spend about a month a year here.
I often chalk up our frequent globe-trotting ability to good planning. We save our money. We aren’t impulse buyers. Even on vacation, we tend to be economical. We have crafted our lives so that we can afford this traveling lifestyle.
The other day, as I was standing in the warm Kauai sun, a breeze skirted by me. My immediate thought? “I must have done something amazing in another life to deserve this.” And just like that, I threw my frugal theory overboard for plain old dumb luck.
I’m the luckiest girl in the world.
