There are certain socially acceptable ways to behave in public. Most of us say please and thank you, chew with our mouths closed, and try to keep our bodily gasses to ourselves as best we can.
But you know as well as I do that all hell breaks loose when no one else is looking. When we’re alone, anything goes.
